Resibras – Companhia Portuguesa de Resinas para Abrasivos, SA, makes Quality, the Environment and the Prevention of Serious Accidents its strategic guidelines, both in internal and external relations, with suppliers and with its customers, to whom it directs the products it manufactures : synthetic and semi-synthetic resins and their catalysts as well as related or similar products.
The Policy determines the culture of all of Resibras and translates into compliance with the requirements of the NP EN ISO 9001:2015 standard, the NP EN ISO 14001:2015 standard, and Decree-law nº 150/2015, of 5 August, so as to:
- Seek to satisfy the needs and expectations of employees, customers and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and other voluntarily subscribed requirements.
- Design and manufacture products that comply with the applicable technical standards and can receive approval from Entities linked to their final application.
- Environmental protection, preventing pollution and the occurrence of serious industrial accidents involving hazardous substances.
- Integrate the structuring aspects of a subsystem for the management of safety and the prevention of serious accidents involving hazardous substances into quality and environment management, by assigning responsibilities at all relevant levels and functions, establishing specific procedures for all risk activities in addition, the availability of equipment and infrastructure suitable for the identified risks and the adequate management of changes.
- Ensure performance monitoring and adequacy of the Management system by monitoring quality, environment and serious accident prevention indicators and carrying out periodic audits.
- Continuously improve the effectiveness of the organization, processes, products and services, as well as its environmental performance and control of the dangers of serious accidents, through the periodic review of the adequacy of the Quality and Environment Management System, the objectives and goals that integrate it and the procedures for responding to emergency situations.
